Company Information Setup
Overview
Company Information serves as the foundation for all business documents generated in AIAccount, including invoices, quotations, and financial reports. Accurate company details are essential for professional document output and e-Invoice compliance in Malaysia.
Steps
- Navigate to Company Information — After logging in, go to "Settings" and select "Company Information."
- Enter basic details — Fill in your company name, SSM registration number, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and SST/GST registration number if applicable.
- Add contact information — Enter your company address, phone number, and email. These will appear on your invoices and reports.
- Upload your company logo — Upload your logo, which will automatically appear on all outward-facing documents such as invoices and quotations.
- Configure business settings — Confirm your country (Malaysia) so the system applies the correct local tax codes (e.g., SST). Set your accounting year start/end dates and home currency.
- Save your settings — Review all information for accuracy, then click "Save" to complete the setup.
Important Notes
- The home currency cannot be changed after company creation. If you need a different currency, you must create a new company.
- Your company logo appears on all exported documents. Use a high-resolution PNG or SVG file for best results.
- Malaysian companies must ensure correct TIN and SSM numbers, as these are required for e-Invoice submission.
- The accounting year dates affect how financial periods are split in reports, so set them carefully.
